Work and purpose of Thetford Christians Together

Thetford Christians Together is exactly that - a body which exists to bring together all the Christians in Thetford, whether they be members of a church, part of a Christian organisation based in the town or individual Christians who may choose to worship outside Thetford.

Because we are not churches together but Christians together, there is an emphasis on the unity and purpose that we share in Christ - differences of worship styles or buildings are not important. We simply seek to speak out the truth of the Gospel to the town in our various ways.

We meet together regularly to share news, to encourage and support each other, to pray and occasionally to organise events which draw in the whole Christian body.

Communication is vital and regular newsletters are produced. We employ a Chaplain to the Workplace who ministers to a wide range of people whose lives may not have been touched by the churches.
